Great Northern feat. Aquavit

Cocktail recipe coming from Cocktail Codex Book

A cocktail meant to be enjoyed on a grey (or sunny) (or rainy) day. A well-balanced cocktail goes a long way to showcase the base spirit. This recipe checks all boxes!

Ingredients
2 oz Dampfwerk Aquavit
3/4 oz Lillet Blanc
1/2 Cointreau
3/4 oz Fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz Honey syrup (or simple syrup)

Lemon peel garnish

Directions
Shake all ingredients on ice, and serve in a cocktail glass. If you are looking for something more refreshing and looking for added dilution to reduce the caraway presence… Short shake on ice and pour over crushed ice in a cocktail glass.

Honey Syrup Recipe

Measure out your honey, by weight, into your preferred container. Add an equal amount in weight of hot water, stir to dissolve!
