Well, well, well… We couldn’t not make a cocktail featuring both aquavit and a gin! How outrageous would that be for us? No need to answer that, it was rhetorical, and we’ve provided you a recipe that not only includes two fantastic Dampfwerk products but also supports a local (MN) and Wisconsin vendor! Ten points for the Dampfwerk team. Now, let us get into it.

Day 6 of cocktail quarantine. Finally, an Aquavit cocktail presents itself! Staying true to quarantine form, 2 ingredients have already been used in previous cocktails, and one ingredient is a homemade ginger tea simple syrup. Prost!

Day 5. Not a cocktail, but sure is a cocktail in a bottle. It was a Monday, and this “cocktail” embodies it. Grab a bottle, a nice glass, and plop down somewhere comfy.

This cocktail was BUILT for a lazy Saturday. Raiding your pantry for a sugar cube, grabbing a lemon, pulling out some simple syrup, and you nuzzling that perfect Dampfwerk square bottle of apple brandy next to your face, is e x a c t l y what this recipe calls for. In comparison to the other "Day" #" cocktails, this is by far the easiest and requires the least developed bar cabinet.

Are we all buckled in for two day of self-quarantine? I would like to assume that the two main ingredients (Dampfwerk London Dry Gin and Campari) are staples in most peoples homes, but I understand that Campari is a vague liqueur ;)
